I have only tried this with Firefox' developer tools and only with the front page of https://friendi.ca/

The aim is to have always some space on the left and right browser window border, at every width of the browser window.

I had the problem that at slightly above 1280px width, there was no margin left and right and that looked not so good. ( #10 )
