shouldn't this be added to the RC branch and not to the develop branch ?

I was already wondering at #1426 why it was moved to develop and not to RC.

There is no particular reason why I chose the dev as my target. I didn't want to disturb the current development on the RC. The addon seems to run stable on loma and dis-le.de.
One challenge is the youtu.be link. youtu.be provides a redirect to the regular YT page. If I bend the link to invidious, this leads to an error message on invidious, as it does not support redirection.
