Of course not, but you have expressed that you aren't interested in supporting the addon going forward, which makes this PR valid. It doesn't mean that the addon will stop working for people…

Interestingly, the API won't completely stop working completely, it will just become paid-only.

It still is a good enough reason to retire this addon.

"Follow"-Button needs a new location

Actually, the /follow route is queried from the visiting user info, so it will always be accurate for the visitor, no matter the version of their node.
