As Twitter changes their API policy, the connector will likely stop working on Feb 9th. Hence it is time to mark the Twitter Connector as unsupported and start the sunsetting of the addon.

Interestingly, the API won't completely stop working completely, it will just become paid-only.

It still is a good enough reason to retire this addon.

I would have preferred to wait for this PR until it finally happened. I can imagine that this "you have to pay $100 to use the API" will not be the final words.

Of course not, but you have expressed that you aren't interested in supporting the addon going forward, which makes this PR valid. It doesn't mean that the addon will stop working for people currently using or the node admin ready to pay to use the API, it just means we don't officially support it.

And if an admin wants to install it, they can still do so.
